Principles for AI-Generated Content

Patriot Consulting authors use AI tools to help research, draft, and edit some of the articles we publish on this website, including posts on our blog. This page explains how we do that and what you can expect from any article that carries an AI assistance note.

  • A person is responsible for every article we publish, whether or not AI helped write it
  • Articles created with AI assistance include a note at the end that links to this page
  • The author decides what an article covers; the opinions and recommendations belong to the author

Review and fact-checking

Before an AI-assisted article is published:

  • The named author reviews and approves the final text.
  • Product details, prices, dates, licensing terms, and feature availability are checked against primary sources, such as Microsoft Learn documentation and official Microsoft announcements, and those sources are cited.
  • If a figure or claim can't be verified, we leave it out or mark it as unconfirmed. We don't publish invented statistics, reference numbers, or citations.
  • Customer names and confidential customer information are never included. When we describe customer work, we identify the customer by industry only.
  • Scripts and code samples are tested by the author or clearly labeled as untested examples.

AI tools

Our authors currently use commercially available large language models. We may use other AI tools in the future and will update this page when our practices change.

Commercial products, prices, and licensing change often. If you spot an error in any article, please use the contact page at https://www.patriotconsulting.com/contact with the URL and what you think is wrong. We'll review it and correct the article when needed.
